My Story

     I’m Jennifer Jenkins with Fabulous Stamper. The best way to describe what I do is that I make pretty things with paper. I do that by using the high quality paper craft supplies from Stampin’ Up to make cards, small gifts, and any number of craft items. I personally love making cards because they are simple gifts you give away and have a lot of versatility. They are also a great creative outlet without a lot of extra products. You can make an elaborate card or a very simple card with a kit. There’s such a great range of possibilities.

 

     I began my stamping journey more than 20 years ago when a friend had me come over to her house for a card making class. I loved how I could create such a gorgeous crafts with basic stamps, ink, and paper. I bought my first stamp set shortly after taking her classes. It was a  pickup truck stamp set that had a variety of objects that could be placed in the bed of the truck. It was so versatile that I still use it all these years later. From that point on, I just kept creating pretty things with paper.

    After a long while, I decided to become a Stampin’ Up demonstrator. I was already buying product and this would allow me to get a discount, free products, exclusive products, and share what I love more easily. I am a teacher by trade so it was natural to hold monthly classes with my friends. I have now moved on to exclusively teaching online through YouTube and other social media. I love breaking down techniques so people can learn. I am amazed at the audience I have reached by expanding my teaching through social media. I love that I am creating a small crafting community through my Fabulous Stamper pages.  I am known for creating Disney-inspired card or crafts each week. I love that so many Stampin’ Up products can inspire my Disney side to craft.
